Home school parents as a whole is a pretty creative bunch of sense . This is one reason that they have made the decision to take their children's education into their own hands . Something lacking in the arena of public or private school that they thought they could do better . I continue to be amazed with creative ideas and a lot of time educating parents home school seems to come with .
Home school families tend Christian middle-class people who live in semi- rural areas . They also tend to have to make some sacrifices , the mother may have given up work to stay at home and accept the responsibility of educating their children . Unfortunately what I see happening is that technology , like computers , are often overlooked . This could be due to financial constraints , the desire to return to simpler times , or lack of parental knowledge , but whatever the case the children need to experience the technology to compete in the new world .
The children are now installed , cable , internet savvy , and bombarded by enough to make heads spin and adults . While I believe that children need their fair share of dirt and sunlight I also believe that it is important to go with the changing times , rather than against them .
Give the kids what they need . A healthy dose of exercise and lots of technology . Too much of any one thing is dangerous , so rations and a gatekeeper , control Internet usage . Get home school software that allows children to have access to more aspects of their own education . Take advantage of language software programs , websites directed learning . Allow the children to experiment with computers and e you will be amazed at what they can afford . Give responsibility and you will be surprised at what your child rewards .
